Наверное, скажу глупость для людей знающих - чтобы не было одним треком на 40 минут, да и размер, чтобы меньше был

А вообще, сейчас тоже скажу глупость, музыку надо (можно) слушать, по-моему, только в оригинальном качестве,
это естественно, она так выпущена артистами,
представь на минуту, что мп3 не существует (ведь даже 320 убивает ВСЕ абсолютно на корню, звук отвратительно локализуется), как это было 15 лет назад,
не пойму, что здесь объяснять, трафик тут ни причем, его стоимость не сравнима со стоимостью
пластинки.
Я не про трафик говорил, а про место на плеере

Первые несколько треков нормально конвертирует, а остальные - только по 10 секунд, полминуте, вообще не всю песню, очевидно

А вы купите хотя бы Colorful Colorfly CK4 и послушайте, сразу все отличите. Кстати " прискорбно ". Бляха-муха , я ведь больше 10 лет слушал мп-3, а ведь у меня и NAD был когда-то, и два ламповых усилителя по 20 кг каждый, и колонки остались безразмерные напольные. И вот накрылись поочередно два проигрывателя мп-3, надо думаю чет брать, без музыки грустно, покурил форумы - прикупил с рук Colorful Colorfly CK4, послушал и пришуел, теперь только флаки и апе ( правда Colorful Colorfly CK4 скончался через неделю, пришлось взять ковшик X7, но тоже неплохо).
если честно, положа руку на сердце, я редко слышу отличия от битрейта 320 кбит/с (многое зависит от исходного lossless материала - не вся музыка имеет техническое качество "The Dark Side of the Moon"), но мысль о том, что MP3 "украл" у меня кусочек музыкального спектра не даст мне спать...
а ещё все эти MP3 делают не понятно кто из не ясно каких источников...
среди [почти_полностью] упорядоченной коллекции 614ГБ музыки на винте lossless занимает 84.1%... и MP3 постоянно подчищается...
а ещё "все_эти" DVD-A и SACD... ох... пойду-ка я лучше...
