This release manufactured by RTB Records, Yugoslavia, under licence from Polydor International GmbH (both RTB and Verve logo are printed on the sleeve). The release that was licensed is a reissue of the original Porgy and Bess release (recorded in september 1957 in Los Angeles). The licenced reissue bears the catalog number 2632 052; original artwork from the reissue is used, but with translated liner notes (with Yugoslav spelling of the names; thus Norman Granz is spelled as "Norman Granz" in the credits and "Norman Grenc" in the liner notes; "Chris Albertson" is spelled "Kris Albertson"). The two LPs are housed in a Gatefold Sleeve. The orchestra is not credited. The original Verve reissue mastered at Masterdisk.
