Происхождение названия Irma весьма необычно. В здании их первого офиса раньше располагалась компания Irma Casadiprimordine (first class House), а Irm'ой звали бывшую хозяйку. Имя решили оставить, просто добавили La Douce, получили Irma La Douce - образ знаменитого персонажа кино 60-ых. Энтузиазм основателей не пропал даром. Даже в России Irma известна и любима.
