А вот и подарочек...
В это издание входят два блюра. На первом - большой документальный фильм о группе, снятый режиссёром Тоби Амисом и шедший в ноябре в широком прокате по всему миру, 20-минутный набор отрывков, не вошедших в прокатный вариант кино по неким цензурным соображениям. Там ничего такого особенного нет, просто какие-то резкие высказывания Фриппа с компанией о друг друге и жизни, или, к примеру, момент, где Фрипп говорит fuck с чистейшим английским произношением, и 14 минут концерта прошлогоднего декабрьского шоу Starless, снятого в Токио. Второй блюр - это часовой концерт в студии, записанный осенью 2018-го (что интересно, в меню есть опция "отключить изображение") - шикарное шоу, музыканты были расслаблены, Левин улыбнулся один раз, Мастелотто дважды, а Фрипп в одном месте лыбился аж 38 секунд подряд... Затем идёт также часовой концерт в Рио осенью 2019-го (сетлист расширен по сравнению с выходившим одноимённым винилом), и 40-минутная документалка "из-за сцены". Везде прекрасная картинка (хотя и с интерлейсом), хороший выбор звука. Бесит отсутствие субтитров, ибо, к примеру, моему уху "английский" английский труднее понимать, чем "американский"... Издано очень по-современному: коробочка, 2xBD+2xDVD+4xCD. Материал на CD отличается от видеоматериала. Также наличествует цветной буклетик со всупительным словом режиссёра и многих других. Сканы - где и всегда.
Настоятельно рекомендую к скачиванию, а заграничных добряков - и к непременной покупке. Такое издание грех не иметь на полочке.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT I started to take photographs seriously because I was vain enough to think I could stop time by freezing it. I think I make films, because it’s the most effective way I have found to understand other people’s points of view, and share those points of view with an audience. But this is a not a one-way process, I love film as a medium because it’s collaborative, not only with your subjects, and when you have one, a crew, but also with the people who watch the films. For me the art of the thing is not what goes on screen, it is what happens when people watch what’s on the screen. In the Court of the Crimson King gave me an opportunity to learn from some enormously talented and experienced musicians. Mature artists who have a sophisticated understanding of their medium, but at the same time are still challenging themselves creatively and physically, when so many of their surviving contemporaries are just bashing out the hits and seeking to replicate times past, rather than choosing the more difficult approach of being present in the here and now. One of the many alternative titles I had for this film was “Time Lords”, because the members of King Crimson deal with time in both a hands-on fashion, but also philosophically. I’ve never been interested in the type of documentaries where you feel the story was written before filming started. I prefer, where possible, to make my films up from candid, unscripted moments that provide unique insight, as well as a headache for the editors who have to find a way to contextualise them in a narrative. These moments allow us to time travel and be present in such a way that the experience of the film becomes subjective and immersive. One of the band members in the film, Bill Rieflin, speaks beautifully about how music can create a set of circumstances where it feels like time stops and one is part of a never ending moment. I found that inspirational both in making this film and how it investigates time and our relationship to it, and also in my approach to the passage of time in my own life. My approach to films generally is a very subjective one, but I have discovered that the more personal and true to oneself one is in making a film, the stronger it resonates for other people. In the Court of the Crimson King is not a film that wants to tell the audience what to think, rather it presents several different points of view about the creative process and what it means to be in this most unusual band; leaving the audience with a sense of both how complicated it all is, but also just how incredibly rewarding the King Crimson experience is both for the musicians and its fans. My first love is music, and I wanted to make a film that shows how important it is in the lives of the people who make it and those who love the music they make. If anybody has got to the bottom of all that pretentious waffle, I want to make clear that In the Court of the Crimson King film also contains some quite beautiful music, and some genuinely terrible jokes. Over the years, we have been approached by a number of companies wishing to make a documentary about King Crimson. Such advances have always been refused because they would have been disruptive to the work of the band, and were unlikely to produce a worthwhile insight - generally offering to make the same music documentary that we have all seen so many times before, simply with different musicians being interviewed in different studios. Both Robert Fripp and I did agree, however, that the 50th anniversary in 2019 would be a good moment for the right documentary if a way could be found of helping it into existence. Robert very much liked Toby Amies’ first documentary “The Man Whose Mind Exploded”. We therefore asked him if he would accept the challenge, his only instruction being that we had no interest in him making “that documentary” - the one we have all seen before. Put as a positive, he was challenged to produce a genre-redefining work of art. The movie took two years longer to complete than we expected (or budgeted). An initial draft, with the title “CosmiKc F*Kc”, was honourable, but only half-way there. The first review of the final movie, after its initial screening at the SXSW film festival, described it as “about as good as rock documentaries get”. I personally might go further. All of life is here, not just music, and certainly not just rock. It has rightly been described as going beyond King Crimson into a “universal, inspirational study of what it is to work or dream to work as an artist”. David Singleton

На протяжении многих лет к нам обращались несколько компаний, желающих снять документальный фильм о King Crimson. Такие авансы всегда отвергались, потому что они нарушили бы работу группы и вряд ли дали бы ценную информацию, - как правило, они предлагали сделать всё тот же музыкальный документальный фильм, который мы уже видели раньше так много раз, просто с разными музыкантами, у которых берут интервью в разных студиях. Однако и Роберт Фрипп, и я согласились с тем, что 50-летний юбилей в 2019 году был бы хорошим моментом для правильного документального фильма, если бы можно было найти способ помочь ему появиться. Роберту очень понравился первый документальный фильм Тоби Эмиса «The Man Whose Mind Exploded». Поэтому мы спросили его, примет ли он вызов с единственной инструкцией, которая заключалось в том, что мы не заинтересованы, чтобы он снял «тот документальный фильм», который мы все видели раньше. С положительной точки зрения, перед ним стояла задача создать произведение искусства, переопределяющее жанр. Работа над фильмом заняла на два года больше, чем мы ожидали (или заложили в бюджет). Toby Amies has succeeded in making a-grown-up film about working players of a certain age - living, dying, laughing, playing and rocking out! What Toby has not done is tell me what King Crimson is. But, that I already know. Perhaps some of those who have been touched by King Crimson and its music already know, too. Even so, it is unlikely that they have had an introduction to the mechanics of the process. And here is one excellent introduction. Robert Fripp

В общем, индейская хижина фигвам. Это диск испорчен. Причём царапин не видно, - выглядит как производственный брак... Даже не знаю, что и делать. Купил на амазоне. Кому предъявлвть претензии?...

По факту файлы НЕ повреждены (физически), т.е. нет ошибки копирования и дефекта поверхности. Скорее на этапе авторинга или дефект штамповки. Интересно, а в какой стране отпечатано? Может у всех так.

DVD обрывается практически так же. Харрисон спрашивает: "The Point?", - и на миллисекунду появляется предупреждение об авторских правах. Так что, вероятнее всего, режиссёрская задумка. tatuk - ещё раз бесконечная благодарность за такой подарок. И всех с наступающими!)

You need to use all the files. The 00015.clpi file contains the length and audio and video definitions of the 00015.m2ts file and the 00010.mpls file contains the playlist for 00015.m2ts. Two of the files are duplicated in the 'Backup' directory. Simply overwrite all your original files (on the same places) with these ones.
