Emerald Web was a band that recorded albums, performed in Planetarium concerts, and composed soundtracks for Carl Sagan from 1978-90. They were known for innovative synthesizer orchestration and created a unique blend of "electronic space music" and acoustic instruments.

This is a real gem and a long lost jewel in the history of psychedelic and electronic space music. Emerald Web comprised the husband and wife duo of Bob Stohl and Kat Epple. The music features lots of trippy flute and synthesizer soundscapes, with the odd vocal track thrown in for good measure. Expect a unique sound fitting somewhere in between Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, and the 'Blade Runner' soundtrack, all filtered through found natural sound weirdness and naive studio trickery.
