A live album to accompany their first reunion album, Nada Moonshine #, this was recorded at the Tokyo Club in April 1996. The lineup features three longtime members, Renate Knaup, Lothar Meid, and Chris Karrer, with Wolf Wolff on drums and new second guitarist Felice Occhionero, Michael Ruff on keyboards and Jan Kahlert doing percussion and vocals. Most of the material is from Nada Moonshine # and one of their best albums, Wolf City. There is a great version of 'Archangels Thunderbird' from the Yeti album, and the take on 'Flowers Of The Orient' is way better than the version on Pyragony X. The Wolf City material really shines. 'Deutsch Nepal', ' Surrounded By The Stars" and of course 'Wolf City' are awesome.. This is no nostalgia trip though, these guys are kicking some serious psychedelic ass, making bands that are 20 years younger sound like tired old has-beens. This is a great live album which will appeal even to those who aren't die-hard fans of this band.
