Только что послушал. Кажется, одна из лучших записей Каллас!
Запись 1953 года из Турина с Сантини, сделанная до того, как Каллас занялась проблемами с весом, не менее (скорее, даже более) виртуозна, но драматически не так интересна - здесь каждая ее фраза отточена до конца, что в сочетании с дирижером и звездным составом оставляет глубочайшее впечатление.
Странно, что EMI выпускали это в "синей" серии Каллас (черные коробочки были более дорогие).

Из-за неудавшегося молодежного контракта Каллас смогла записать «Травиату» только в студии на лейбле Cetra. Все остальные записи — живые или радиозаписи с плохим звуком. Любопытно, что эта версия с Джулини самая полная, но звучит хуже всего.
