Make sure you completely uninstall any previous version that you had in MSFS 2024 and delete the WASM folder (delete the whole iFly 737 MAX folder from the packages folder) since MSFS 2024 is causing incompatibility issues like failure to start up. Airport maps and RAAS is currently not working in MSFS 2024 due to the fact that the airports are streamed and iFly is still looking for a fix as of now.
I want someone with MSFS 2024 to use this and tell me if it works, since the plugin is included separately, you can try first the plugin that I provided here and in case it does not work use the other plugin then (in the 'ifly-aircraft-737max8\Data\Tool' folder).
NOTE: Will not work with MSFS 2020.

Hello everyone.
Works great under 2024 (Sim Update 3 Beta 1.5.15.0). I used the plugin provided separately in the archive (737MAX_Plugin.rar).
1) I unzipped "737MAX_Plugin.rar" to the desktop.
2) I copied the files from the "ifly-aircraft-737max8.rar" folder (ifly-aircraft-737max8\Data\Tools" to the desktop folder. (Except 737MAX_Plugin.exe), you must keep the original one!
3) I modified the config.ini and download.ini files, with my username. In config.in edit the line:
- PackagePath=C:\Users\ ****\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2020
In download.ini edit the line:
idfilename = C:\Users\ ****\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\ifly-aircraft-737max8\Data\Tool\id_downloaded_file.xml

Preferably you should be in Sim Update 3 Beta for this to work properly. If you are not, then you can expect a lot of bugs since it is not optimized and even one change in the .ini file or a livery can make the whole airplane unusable.
Did you remove all the ini files? Did you delete the whole 'ifly' folder from your packages folder? Are you using ANY 3rd party addon like a livery or ANY .ini file? These are some of the conflicts that are causing problems in the genuine version of iFly 737 MAX and the airplane is sometimes bricked as well! Their discord has a lot of reports like that since this is an 'EXPERIMANTAL' version. It is currently a PITA sometimes but when you figure it out it works absolutely fine for a A-B flight.
This is how difficult it is with MSFS 2024 and its 'streaming everything' policy is proving to be quite challenging.

Interesting, can you tell me how you updated the Navdata?
From iFly's discord:
"Any modification whatsoever of any file in the ifly-aircraft-737max8 folder in the community folder will brick your installation of the iFly MAX8.
This is not by our design. It is something Asobo added to MSFS 2024 and even a 1 byte change to a file can break the addon. So make sure no addon you have does anything inside the Community installation folder (fly-aircraft-737max8). Also, for Navigraph data, you should only use the Navigraph Hub to install data (not the old FMS Data Manager)."
If you have bricked your MAX8 installation, you have two options:
Do a clean uninstall/reinstall of the MAX8, noting the above and confirm zero modifications to the installation. Confirm ifly-aircraft-737max8 does not exist in your Community folder prior to reinstalling.
Regenerate your layout.json file (this may or may not work) by downloading the MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe from https://github.com/HughesMDflyer4/MSFSLayoutGenerator/releases/tag/v1.1.1 and placing it in the Community\fly-aircraft-737max8 folder (go to the iFly Manager Settings to open it), then drag and drop the layout.json file on top of the MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe file. It should regenerate the file and the iFly MAX8 may now load.
Even genuine version has a ton of issues on iFly's discord and MSFS forums for example here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ifly-737-max-is-coming-to-msfs/538169/661?page=30 there are quite some users having stuck loading screen and airplane unusable after installing new AIRAC.
This experimental version requires some cleaning and clearing of conflicts to work, that is how the current state of the genuine aircraft is.

Всё сделал как Вы написали.
1) Две папки ifly-aircraft-737max8 и ifly-aircraft-Data в папку Community
2) Отредактировал .ini файлы
3) Заменил 737MAX_Plugin.exe из скачанной папки
4) Запускаю 737MAX_Plugin.exe, запуская FS 2024
И кабина не кликабельна, только рычаг интерцепторов могу на половину сдвинуть мышкой.
В 737MAX_Plugin.exe есть Dfault Packages Folder - Custom Folder он указывает не на папку с самолётом - это правильно?
I did everything as you wrote.
1) Two folders ifly-aircraft-737max8 and ifly-aircraft-Data in the Community folder
2) Edited .ini files
3) Replaced 737MAX_Plugin.exe from the downloaded folder
4) Launch 737MAX_Plugin.exe, launching FS 2024
And the cockpit is not clickable, I can only move the spoiler lever halfway with the mouse.
In 737MAX_Plugin.exe there is Dfault Packages Folder - Custom Folder it does not point to the folder with the aircraft - is this correct?

Ура заработало на версии 1.0.2 и возможно помог ifly mager
Только почему то не работают аккумуляторы, но всу запускается и встаёт под нагрузку!

In msfs 2024 version 1.0.42 - i have got problem with beacon light is always on and little above fuselage, and so strobe lights, they are always visible instead of flashing. [only flashing on the ground]
