Thanks, I used inno extractor to extract the files so I could do it manually. not a fan of these all in one installers. i noted that spotlights does not work with this new version, is it because spotlights does not work with p3d5.4 or did they change something? i might be doing something wrong. it works fine without spotlights but when i install spotlights its as if the planes are not activated.

If I install spotlight the plane loads but none of the fslabs services and/or dlls get loaded, so the plane is inoperable. Uninstalling spotlights fixes the issue. okay i finally got it to work. for those who have the same problem, what i did was, in <p3dv5 addons folder>/Spotlights/DLLs, I replaced these 2 DLLs:
FSL_SimConnect_Ldr64.dll
and
SimConnect_P3D_v5.dll
with the DLLs of the exact same name from <p3dv5 addons folder>/Spotlights/FSLabs/Libraries

Я БМБ что там в реестре, но умудриться установить Фслаб в папку Прожекторов, это нечто. Они что, ни когда Фигурнова не читали?
Реестр можно и интуитивно проверить на всякий случай.
