Hey there - first of all thanks to gellmar & the others for all the research & great work on this!!!
(Setup was challenging, but it worked out after some weeks, thanks to all the explanations, running SQLServer as oracle did not work for me)
Here's my problem:
Been saving all my money since working with the rendering module to afford a decent Quadro card, essentially to speed up render times...
Some weeks ago i got a M4000 & installed it with the lowest of the DS certified drivers for this model(354.56). Running the card with the optimized settings for this software general sketcher & 3dapp performance has increased, but the info window of the rendering app keeps telling me that my driver is not DS certified. After all when rendering in GPU only mode, the GPU does nothing and rendering results in a black image.
So what - it does not recognize the driver as its a 2013 build as this card didn't exist - my guess is that DS has already an update out for this but theres no way i could find to download it.
I even tried searching for some setting in the configuration files, but couldn't find anything useful so far.
Thanks in advance for any hint on this!
I'm not to keen to install a new and maybe more complicated version to get this issue fixed. (Although I'm curious about it & do hope to that you'll get it running soon)
I'm absolutly happy working with this version, as i get on well with some of the minor DS glitches, but would rather like to update this version, than starting all over again with installation/configuration/migration issues...

hi all
I install the 3D Experience Successfull. but I have new problem.
for login to browser I used PLMADM and for machine I use Test Every thing , but i confront with this view....
I show the view of my computer in this file.
Please help me that what can I do for go to software????

Great review for 2016x, thanks! Actually sounds worse than one might expect first.... guess theres no way to use on one physical machine any longer, running the client 
Tough the PLM is a bit annoying, for me it kinda' works (reduced to basic use) - for the rest it fits all my needs, also i feel more productive with the 2014 compared to '13 i used first.
On a lazy base (dont want to install this again in near future), if theres a good way to update the V6r2014x (especially neuray/gpu drivers), i guess not only me would appreciate this a lot

on server side do not install java yourself the installer will install java itself
instead you just need to define temp and tmp User Variables and copy the installer in temp folder and follow the guide...

because in hiend 2013 we can assign only ALV and ALX license to person for work with software....

Dont worry about V5, DS will not kill itself by stopping V5(their cash cow). Honest wich company uses V6 100% (no sandbox projects)? I have to work with it at my company and I am not happy together with hundreds of my collegues too. A few advatages against plenty of troubles, lost skills, lower productivity, redraw thousands of assembly drawings(consider a company that switches CAD data from an old DB to ENOVIA is not the same as playing around with a few CAD Models at home for study), linkmanagement is a horrortrip, cache modus all the time, never ending list.... you need a dozen people for the infrastructure to work. Consultans have to train themselves before they go to train you, nobody has fundamental experience, perhaps a few DS people. DS should rename it to 3D "experiment" 
What do they do, DS wants to substitute SAP? lol
Of course I like these wonderful CAE warez here like all of you and have a lot of joy with it, but believe me if you have to work with V6 all the day you would wish to turn back time. V5 has more than you ever need.

and tried with new ds licence server too as u had suggested before, i tried logging in as Test Everything with win 10 pro, sql server 2012

ERROR 1A00000C: File decryption failed.
It is on client, doesn't meter DSLS installed localy or on server.
Win 10 I tired everything in this post. ??

Friends, I can't realise why disappeared all planes and all sketches in all 3D modules?! All of planes in tree is showing, I can select it for sketching but can't see in viewport, and after sketching my sketch disappears too! I reset all of my preference, but nothing changed. ((
UPD: I got it! In a Tool shelf in a View pallet to change a Customize view!
Ok, one more question. In tutorials I notice other tool shelf with a options by right click. It's be able to customize shelf in this 2014 version? Does it need some rights from Enovia for it?

Following the steps outlined below will see the following error message.
1.3 When the next window appears, unmount SQL Server ISO from virtual drive (if you used SQL Server) and mount 3DEXPERIENCE.SERVER.WINDOWS64.iso to the virtual drive, then select the 3DEXPERIENCE root folder (typically C: \ 3dEXPERIENCE by default) and select a drive letter where 3DEXPERIENCE.SERVER.WINDOWS64.iso is mounted. Press Next
1.4 Select components you want to include in your server setup. You can leave it intact or select everything (of course if you need such a monster). Press Next and when the prompt pops-ip, make sure the SERVER iso is mounted and its folder is correcty chosen. The black screen with log file appears and it can take several hours.
ERROR: "none available instance"

I do exactly the same thing but do not have access to the admin panel.
I copy all passwords from redme.txt

Well regardless whether one create an auto installer or not ... how can one aquire the full installation disks for R2016x and the WP so i'd try to do a manual setup myself using virtual machines

3dexp is 90% database & PLM with CatiaV5+watercolored-buttons+direct modelling. If you want to do design work, use V5. If you want to spend days/weeks to get the commuinication between the multiple db's , go ahead and try installing.
You need at least 16gb, recomennded 32 if you want to deploy the db's and webaservers onto one machine.

Today i tried to install 3Dex14 for the second time on a complete new Win7 Ultimate 64bit SP1 no futher updates build.
I get the error:
Extracting JDK...
Extracting Tomcat...
Installing Enovia Live Collaboration Server V6R2014x...
Enovia Live Collaboration Server ERROR, Aborting...
in the End log of the installer.
In the CMD it shows ->
Extracting JDK...
Extracting Tomcat...
No active Instances
-I downloaded both parts of the 12.1
-Run the installer as Admin (also deactivtet UAC, Firewall, etc.)
-installed Firefox and JRE 7.17
-mountet the iso with virtualclone drive after setting up the DB
-picked the right paths to the install folders or Vdrives
-never installed a DB or things like Tomcat/Java etc on this build before...
its an Intel 4790k build
but now i´m running out of Ideas, it would be great if someone could help me with this <3
