Allen Watts родился в небольшом городке Tolbert (Гронинген) в Нидерландах в 1980 году. Сейчас живет в Родене. Интересуется электронной музыкой, будучи ещё подростком. Творчеством начал заниматься ещё в 2009 году и с того времени делает большие успехи.
Первый релиз выходит в 2012 и называется «What May Come». он впускается на подлейбле «Terminal4 Records» от знаменитого «Blackhole Recordings».
В 2012 году выпущен «Split Second» - и это резкий рывок вверх по карьерной лестнице. Мировая слава приходит к Allen Watts именно в это время. В этом же году выходят сингл «What may come» и несколько ремиксов.
2013 год для Ален очень плодотворный. Он сотрудничает со знаменитыми лейблами, среди которых «Monster Digital», «Edge EDM Records», «Kearnage Recordings», «Trance All-Stars Records», «Progressive House Worldwide « и многие другие и выпускает синглы, ставшие очень популярными в клубах и на танцплощадках. Это «Skin deep», «Tomahawk», «Sidewinder», «Out of reach», «Fast lane».
В 2014 выходит компиляция «Monster Tunes best of 2014» (Mixed by Allen Watts), а также несколько успешных ремиксов, в том числе и на самого Армина Ван Бюрена. В этом же году композиции Allen Watts ротируются на радио, в том числе и в знаменитой радиопередаче Ван Бюрена «A State of Trance», играют в сетах популярных диджеев.
Также в этот год выходят синглы «Fallen», «Kepler», «Recharge» и другие. Всего за творческую деятельность с 2009 по начало 2015 выпускаются 24 сингла и множество ремиксов. Из последних, сочинённых в 2015 году особой популярностью пользуются «Inside out» и совместная работа с Lee Osborne «Alcatraz», записанная на лейбле «Monster Pure».

Those tracks are the horsepower behind every dancefloor driven machine… and they come from guys like Allen Watts.
For those who aren't too familiar, Allen Watts charged on the scene back in 2012. Having been an avid listener of Trance since the days of System F, Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk, his own knack for music-making remained hidden under the surface for many years. Upon realizing this talent Allen shifted gears and delivered a swift debut release 'What May Come' via Richard Durand's Terminal 4 label. Taking early cues from producers like Dave202, The Thrillseekers, and the above-mentioned veterans, Watts followed up with 'Split Second'. The track was picked up by Armin van Buuren and, as fast as the name would suggest, catapulted Allen to the front line of European club-nights.
Over the next few years Allen output a relentless stream of heavy-hitters ("Blackout", "Gravity", "Flashback", "Breakthrough", "Telepathy" & more) and became the most played artist on A State of Trance Radio Show (2016). His growing collection of power productions gained him a permanent home on labels like Who's Afraid of 138!? (Armada), where he's enjoyed nine releases to date – as well as Grotesque, Monster Tunes and Black Hole Recordings. His very name has become a joule in the record bags of every taste-maker in the genre – a distinction that led to remix requests from none other than Armin van Buuren.
Allen truly amped things up through 2016, making several international debuts with gigs in Switzerland, The USA and his own headline bookings in the Czech Republic, Italy and Bahrain. The busy touring schedule paid off and saw Allen skyrocket from #132 to the Top 25 on Trance Podium's Best DJ poll.
