Here's the surprise folkloric rumba release. Straight out of Puerto Rico, it is brought to you by veteran percussionist José "Mañengue" Hidalgo, father of Giovanni Hidalgo. The younger Hidalgo (affectionately called "Mañenguito") also participates on this release by playing chekeré, pandero and singing coro. An undeniable sincerity permeates this recording, and you get the sense that this gathering of friends had a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
